ANNOUNCEMENT : American Chemical Society (ACS) Fall 2024 Division of Environmental Chemistry Virtual Symposium focused on Challenges of Water Issues in South East Asia (Vietnam and Thailand) August 18 - 22, 2024

 


OBJECTIVES

American Chemical Society call for ACS Fall 2024 in the theme of Elevating Chemistry. Sessions for the hybrid meeting (in-person & virtual) will be held in Denver, Colorado, and virtually, August 18 - 22. In 2024 Global Virtual Symposia is also available for presenters and audiences to participate in ACS Meetings & Expositions virtually and across many time zones.

Division of Environmental Chemistry will organize a virtual symposium focused on Challenges of Water Issues in South East Asia (Vietnam and Thailand). Sustainable use of water resources is critical for South East Asia countries. Threats to the safe drinking water supply are exacerbated by drought, floods, demographic pressures, agricultural and industrial runoff, deforestation, and climate change. The symposium will bring together researchers, engineers and scientists in this domain of interest from all parts of the world to share current Environmental issues in South East Asia and to exchange ideas and experiences toward applicable remediation and solutions to these critical environmental problems. With passionate attendees from research and educational institutions around the world, the symposium would be a perfect opportunity to showcase their latest and exciting innovations, interact with distinguished scientists, and look for potential collaborations.

 

CALL FOR ABSTRACT

Abstract Word Limit (Total Characters) is 300 words or 2,500 characters (including: Abstract Body, Images, and Tables (in image format); each image counts as 560 characters). You are allowed a maximum of 2 tables and/or images. Do NOT include self-citations, references, keywords, bibliographies, acknowledgments, support/grants, or disclaimers in your abstract. Any references found in the abstract will be removed before publication.

The accepted abstracts will be printed in ACS proceedings and indexed in the ISI web of knowledge.
