Tuan T. Dang studied chemistry (BSc.) at Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University (VNU). He received his Ph.D. degree in 2007 at the University of Rostock under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Peter Langer. During his Ph.D. he worked in the field of dianion chemistry and palladium catalysis. After completion of his Ph.D., he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Yves Geerts at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium. From 2008 until 2010 he worked, as an Alexander-von-Humboldt scholar, in the groups of Prof. Carsten Bolm at RWTH Aachen and Prof. Lukas Hintermann at TU Munich (TUM). From 2010, he was working as a research scientist at the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences (ICES) in Singapore. Recently, he has become a lecturer in faculty of chemistry at VNU, Hanoi University of Science. His research focuses on the development of new synthetic methods based on Pd, Ru, Ir, Ni, Cu catalysts and finding applications in the synthesis of drugs and advanced organic materials. He is coauthor of more than 50 publications.
